Srinagar: Minister for Law & Parliamentary Affairs, Relief & Rehabilitation, Sayeed Basharat Bukhari said on Monday(August 10), that Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs) would be established at the divisional as well as district levels in the State to help people in case of any eventuality. \r\nThe Minister was chairing a meeting of senior officers of National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Deputy Commissioners of Kashmir division here on August 12. The meeting also discussed the measures for making functional temporary EOCs as per immediate requirement and equipping them with trained manpower at the divisional and district levels till the EOCs as per national standards are fully established. |
