Mumbai: The Maharashtra government is going to purchase bike ambulances on the lines of those operating in London to reach emergency sites quickly. The bikes are aimed at reducing ‘golden hours’ to ‘golden minutes’ to save patients. Health minister Deepak Sawant said that a pilot project for Mumbai would be launched, as bike ambulances will be more useful on crowded streets. |
