Kannur: The Kannur railway station will now have an emergency heart revival machine to provide emergency medical care in response to cases of cardiac arrests reported at the station or inside trains. \r\nThe Kannur railway station is the first railway station in the North Malabar region to have an automated external defibrillator (AED) installed to attend to emergency cases of heart attacks on trains and at the station. The station here being a major railway facility with large number of people reaching here every day, AED will be a great relief for heart patients. |
