Over 600 Traffic Sleuths Get Life Support Training


Ahmedabad: Emergency medical assistance for victims of road accidents will now be seconds away, with hundreds of traffic policemen being trained in basic life support training and other techniques. Faisal Siddiqui, general manager of a private hospital in Thaltej, says, \"So far we have, imparted BLS training to 650 traffic police personnel and 250 more will be trained to enable them to be the `first responders` in emergency situations.\" He said the objective behind the training is to educate police personnel about steps to be taken in case of an accident or medical emergency.
