Lahore: Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal and Lahore General Hospital Prof Anjum Habib Vohra has said that Neuro Emergency Department would be made functional in the building of Punjab Institute of Neuro Sciences in a few days. In a statement issued on May 17, he said that Punjab government had provided Rs700 million during current fiscal year for Punjab Institute of
Neuro Sciences out of which Rs250m have been spent on the purchase of modern medical equipment.Vohra said work was under way on construction of 18 operation theaters, ICU, Central Sterilization and private rooms. He hoped that during first week of next month the Institute would start its services. |
