Emergency Services Hit in Telangana by 108 Staff Strike

After \"Government Employees\" and \"RTC Unions,\" now it is the turn of \"108 Ambulance Services Staff\" to go on an indefinite strike in the state of Telangana. They are primarily demanding the management to increase their existing salaries and provide a hike similar to the increment given to govt employees.

With this strike, more than 300 Ambulance vehicles were confined to the service camps affecting the whole Telangana region. Though the officials of EMRI are busy in making alternative arrangements for the emergency services in and around Hyderabad, it will be an uphill task to address the huge demand. We hope that the 2nd round of discussions will be fruitful and resume the 108 services.
