Islamabad: National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) on 10 April commenced 2 weeks first-aid refresher course programme for patrolling officers. Motorway Police officers are the first respondents at highways and motorways in case of accident.
The purpose of this course is to prepare the officers to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured passengers in case of any untoward incident. For this purpose, ambulance service on M-4 and IMDC has already been made operational. At the end of the course, the NH & MP Inspector General, Muhammad Saleem Bhatti distributed certificates amongst the course participants at Islamabad NH&MP, Lines Headquarters. |
