Dindigul, TN: Four specially designed ambulances have been sanctioned to the hilly region. Oddanchatram, Vedasandur, Thoppampatti and Sempatti divisions would soon get the new ambulances which would have additional facilities. The old vehicles in these places would be replaced with the new ones, said Collector T.N. Hariharan.
The vehicle allotted to Thandigudi Hills had been designed in such a way that it could move fast on ghat roads and slopes. The patients would not feel any discomfort while being taken to the hospital, said Health Department officials. |
