Seniors Learn How to Do CPR and Use AED

Singapore: Proving one can never be too old to learn life-saving skills, about 450 senior citizens aged 50 to 90 gathered on 15 March to learn how to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).The senior citizens were paired with about 150 students from ITE College Central who are trained and certified in CPR and AED by the People\'s Association Emergency Preparedness Division.

The event is part of the \"Think Health, Live Well\" Health Carnival organised by the Ang Mo Kio CC Women\'s Executive Committee. Organisers hope to raise the awareness of such life-saving skills among seniors so more can help during an emergency.
