Bhubaneswar: The State Government plans to set up 7 fully-equipped trauma care centres this year with an aim to provide prompt medical assistance to the victims of road accidents, said Commerce and Transport Minister Ramesh Chandra Majhi. \r\n Speaking at the closing ceremony of the 26th Road Safety Week here on 17 January, Majhi said 248 road safety clubs will be made functional across the State. The clubs will be set up in educational institutions which are close to national highways.
\r\nImprovised training on road safety will be provided in the clubs to create awareness among students, the Minister added. |
