China Red Cross Society (CRCS), has donated items worth $181,688 to Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS) as part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the two organisations in September last year.
The items which were presented to the GRCS yesterday in Accra included an ambulance, Havel h5 Vehicle, 15 laptops, 30 desktop computers, 120 spine boards, 80 splints,40 basket stretchers, 120 foldable stretchers, 500 first aid kits, 20 two way radio, 20 mobile phones and 20 digital cameras.
Mr Kofi Addo, General Secretary of GRCS said: “China Red Cross Society have been consistently over the years supporting our staff and volunteers in capacity strengthening trainings in China in most of our programme areas including disaster, health care, resource development, dissemination of principles and values and branch development.” |
