The Department of Health (DOH) will be under Code White starting Dec. 21 until 5 January in preparation for Christmas and the New Year. \r\n
This means that medical personnel are on-call for firecracker-related incidents.

Dr ExpeditoMedalla, Health Emergency Management Staff program coordinator of DOH 7, said that 50 hospitals in the country will be on Code White alert, which means there should be a doctor assigned in the health facility and there is an exclusive area reserved for victims of firecracker accidents.
