Bengaluru: With an addition of 198 more vehicles to the 108 Arogya Kavacha’s existing fleet of 517 ambulances, more people can now hope to get transported to the nearest hospital within the ‘golden hour’. \r\n
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who flagged off the new vehicles on 25 November, said the idea was to provide one ambulance for less than 70,000 people. “As of now, one ambulance is catering to one lakh people,” he said.
