The Cebu City Government will start providing all recognized volunteer emergency responders in the city with accident insurance benefits. \r\nThe Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CCDRRMC) will set aside P1 million, charged to the calamity fund, as an initial fund for the program, whose appropriation the CCDRRMC has approved. The program was attended by different emergency response units in the City. A motorcade showcased the City’s response vehicles and equipment. The City has 450 emergency responders from different units and teams from the barangays. |
