As many as 12 snakebite patients visit the hospital on daily basis seeking medical assistance. Doctors at DPHO said lack of anti-snake venom would hit patients hard as the health facility has run out of stock from July 06. RajKishor Pandit, Chief at DPHO, said that Department of Health Service had sent 150 vials of anti-snake venom a fortnight ago after repeated requests.
