Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino led the opening of the warehouse for rescue and disaster in Marikina City last Jun 27. \r\nTolentino assured that the equipment used for emergency response is protected in the warehouse since its location in Bgy. Tanong is a flood free area \r\nThe MMDA chief added that the warehouse will also be the centralized dispatch area where rescue personnel from the public safety division will be fielded so they will be deployed easily to areas that need immediate assistance available in case of disaster. \r\n \r\n |
