PIMS Ready to Meet Emergency Health Crisis


Islamabad: The leaves of all the hospital consultants and physicians serving at the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University, PIMS, have been cancelled for June 23 order to provide full health cover to law enforcement officials including those discharging their duties to protect public property and lives of people during the arrival of PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Talking to media persons after inspecting arrangements at the hospital, the vice chancellor of SZAB Medical University, PIMS, said: “Anyone needing health assistance during the arrival of the PAT chief will be given full medical assistance in case of any emergency. We are prepared in this regard.” He added that additional medical supplies have already been stored at the pharmacy department of PIMS.
