Indore: Increasing road accidents are resulting into brachial plexus injuries. In simple words, severe road accidents lead to complete loss of function of hand due to paralysis which is often left undiagnosed or get neglected due to non-availability of treatment. Doctors advised that the injuries should not be left untreated which could result in permanent loss.
City doctors said that brachial plexus injuries are seen as part of high velocity trauma and most of the patients are young adult males who are the earning members of their families. |
